I need in the references (see below) for these descriptions:

1887 Edouard van Beneden (1846-1910) (reference ?) demonstrated chromosome reduction in gamete maturation, thereby confirming August Weismann's (1834-1914) predictions (Weismann, 1883). He also discovered that all organisms of the same species have the same number of chromosomes.
