I can not find anywhere years of life of Karl Rabl (see below) for the following description:

1885   Karl Rabl (YYYY-YYYY ?) formulated the law of constancy of the number of chromosomes and theorized the individuality of chromosomes in all stages of the cell cycle.

1885   Carl Rabl (1853-1917) formulated the law of constancy of the number of chromosomes and theorized the individuality of chromosomes in all stages of the cell cycle.
